Privacy policy
This policy explains what information OFM Wiki processes, why it is used, when it may be shared, and the choices available to visitors.
Scope and effective date
This policy applies to the OFM Wiki website and direct communications with the OFM Wiki Editorial Team. It is effective July 17, 2026.
OFM Wiki is the controller of information processed through this site. Privacy questions and requests can be sent to [email protected].
Information we process
OFM Wiki does not offer visitor accounts, comments, checkout, or an on-site contact form. The site currently does not run advertising pixels or a first-party analytics product.
- Messages you send: your email address, name, message, attachments, and any other information you choose to include when you contact us.
- Technical records: hosting, delivery, security, and network providers may process IP addresses, browser and device details, requested URLs, timestamps, referring pages, response codes, and error information.
- Editorial correspondence: correction requests, product updates, source documents, and the record of how a request was reviewed or resolved.
How and why information is used
- Respond to questions, corrections, privacy requests, and product updates.
- Research, verify, maintain, and improve published editorial content.
- Operate, secure, troubleshoot, and protect the site from abuse.
- Meet legal obligations and establish, exercise, or defend legal claims.
Depending on the visitor's location, these activities rely on consent, performance of a requested service, legitimate interests in operating an editorial website, or compliance with legal obligations.
Cookies and similar technologies
OFM Wiki does not currently set cookies for advertising, behavioral profiling, or first-party analytics. Essential infrastructure may use short-lived technical data to deliver pages, balance traffic, prevent abuse, or maintain security.
Links on OFM Wiki lead to independent third-party websites. Those services may use their own cookies or tracking technologies under their own privacy policies after you leave this site.
Sharing and service providers
OFM Wiki may disclose information only as reasonably necessary to:
- Providers that host, deliver, secure, monitor, or maintain the website and email service.
- Professional advisers who are bound by confidentiality obligations.
- Courts, regulators, law enforcement, or other parties when required by law or necessary to protect rights, safety, and site integrity.
- A successor involved in a merger, financing, reorganization, or transfer of the site, subject to appropriate confidentiality protections.
OFM Wiki does not sell personal information and does not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
Retention and security
Contact and editorial records are kept only for as long as needed to answer the request, document a correction, maintain publication integrity, resolve disputes, or meet legal obligations. Infrastructure logs are retained according to the operational and security schedules of the relevant service providers. Information is deleted or anonymized when it is no longer reasonably needed.
We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards appropriate to a public editorial site. No transmission or storage system is completely secure, so absolute security cannot be guaranteed.
International processing
Service providers may process information in countries other than the visitor's own. Where required, OFM Wiki relies on lawful transfer mechanisms and contractual or organizational safeguards designed to protect that information.
Your privacy rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or receive a copy of personal information, object to certain processing, or withdraw consent. You may also have the right to complain to a local data protection authority.
Send a request from the email address connected to the information at issue to [email protected]. We may request limited information to verify identity and authority before completing a request. Authorized agents should provide evidence of their authority.
Children
OFM Wiki is intended for adults evaluating creator-business software. It is not directed to anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Contact us if you believe a child has provided personal information.
Changes to this policy
This policy may change when the site's data practices, providers, or legal obligations change. Material updates will be reflected on this page with a revised effective date. Continued use of the site after an update is subject to the revised policy.
